Details
Built around 1700 in local limestone originally to accommodate pony and trap
with workers accommodation above. It has now been converted to a charming
holiday cottage with sitting room, kitchen/dining room, 2 bedrooms and bathroom,
with central heating throughout.
The light and airy sitting room has comfy sofas, natural stone wall and wood
burning stove. It holds a good sized colour television, hi-fi
with CD and cassette player, and DVD player. During 2009 we've upgraded the TV to a flat screen and now provide Freesat-HD for your enjoyment. A selection
board games and books are available for your use. Also maps and local guides are
supplied to help you get the most from your stay.
Also upstairs is a fully tiled bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Towels ( one hand, one bath per person ) are supplied.
Outside in the garden there are table, chairs and a barbeque for alfresco dining and relaxation on warm summer evenings.
For your convenience, and that of others no smoking is permitted in the cottage.
There is ample off-road car parking immediately outside the cottage.
